Advancing Safety Professional Globally (BCSP,United States – IOSH, United Kingdom)
The Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), United States and the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH), United Kingdom have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
To be awarded the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) by BCSP, a person who holds a Chartered member of IOSH (CMIOSH) and who meets the eligibility criteria of BCSP for the CSP will not be required to take the BCSP Associate Safety Professional (ASP) Examination, but must passed BCSP CSP Examination.
To be awarded the CMIOSH designation by IOSH, a person who hold the CSP designation will be considered as having met the education and experience requirements for the CMIOSH designation and will not have to complete the Professional Interview Process, but must passed the Open Examination of IOSH.
International Opportunities for OSH Professional Certifications (BCSP, United States – NEBOSH, United Kingdom)
The Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), United States and the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH), United Kingdom have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
The MOU allows for persons who hold the National and/or International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety to waive the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) examination so that they may sit directly for the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification’s examination, if they meet all other requirements.
Likewise, a CSP may achieve the National and/or International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety without taking the related NEBOSH course, but by taking either diplomas’ assessments.
